| Custom Cages almost always has baby Sugar Gliders in stock. The babies are taken from their parents every Tuesday as a rule. All of the babies that meet our developmental standards are taken. |

This normally occurs about 7 weeks out of the pouch. The babies are immediately taken to our warm room, where they are kept and cared for until they are placed in a home. They stop nursing at about 6 weeks out of the pouch. We try to leave them with the parents for another week. |
| We normally have brown babies and gray babies available. Usually, if you have a preference, we can accommodate your color preference. On occasion we have what is known as Cinnamon babies. These are a lighter brown with a reddish tint to them. We also occasionally have a light tan available. A third and even more scarce color is blonde. A true blonde is straw colored in the face and under side, and should show no dark bar under the ear. A blonde genetic baby will be as described, but will have the bar to some degree. The blonde genetics are less, but are just as likely to have true blonde babies. Sometimes even they turn true blonde as they grow up. Since these colors are scarce, we charge more for them. If you want a slightly older baby we can usually provide them as well. |
