Four 2 Level Chinchilla Cage cluster

$390.00

Description

This unit is four cages built together. There are two levels in each cage. It is similar to the previous cage except that this unit is 4 cages instead of 2. Note the solid dividers between the adjoining cages in order to keep the neighbors from fighting through the wire. Your cage can have solid dividers or wire dividers, depending on your choice. It could easily house 4 pair of chinchillas. Again, this cage offers a lot of space for the floor space being taken. Each cage is 24"x24"x30", making this quad cage 48"x24"x60". Each cage is divided into two levels. The upper level is a solid ½"x1/2" floor for safety. There is a 6"x 6" hole in the upper level for the chinchilla to go through at the top of the ramp. Therefore there are two doors on each cage, one to access each lower level and one to access each upper level.

Note that each has the 4” deep sliding dropping pan, and in this case, each have the optional litter guards. The unit is sitting on a 48”x24”x6” stand on casters.

Add a built-in hay rack to the front of the cage. Chinchillas need roughage, usually in the form of alfalfa hay. Our rack is built into the front of the cage, so you just push a handful of the hay into the rack via a hole in the outside of the cage. They pull and eat the hay through the wire rack, and most of the spillage occurs within the cage. They then can eat the spillage at their leisure.
